Initial assessment

Clearly above stub, but very imbalanced with heavy history section (unsourced) and light on ecology, geology, infrastructure. Anlace 02:51, 23 October 2006 (UTC)

I agree, added NPOV tag --Anniepoo 17:30, 21 February 2007 (UTC)

The extras section, especially, reads like an advert. Economic section reads a bit like one, too. --Alberrosidus 04:01, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Wondering how to edit this U.S. City Entry?
The WikiProject U.S. Cities standards might help.

The map shows Newark being completely surrounded by Fremont, but I've seen other maps that show Newark running right up to the bay. Also, if the salt factory is at the edge of the bay, and is also in Newark, then that makes it impossible for Fremont to surround Newark on the western side. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.164.78.163 (talk) 06:00, 5 May 2008 (UTC)

Merged comment

Not enough information about the history of the town, cultural festivals, etc. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 198.176.189.201 (talkcontribs) 30 April 2007‎

History

I have noticed that the history section on this page is insufficient, and lacking of content. I am one of the few owners of a book that documents the history of Newark from 1769-1976. It feels fitting that I should consolidate this information and add it to this page. --Casdavihay 20:37, 15 June 2012 (UTC)
