Member organizations are what exactly?[edit]

organizations (non-profit corporations, etc) which contibute money ot resources to nywa? there are the other "member organization" levels, sponsor, supporter etc. What is this signifiance?

Many non-profit organizations have "corporate members" and afilliated groups. this is not encyclopedic. The goal here is not to archive every bit of information from the NYWA's website. Vinithehat (talk) 07:32, 21 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are corporate members, but none of them is listed here. They donate money to support the work of the group. This is a not for profit group of women's organizations. Member organizations are groups that contribute to the funding of the organization. it is not appropriate to list them here. This is information that can be found on the organizations website where it belongs. Many non-profit organizations have members like this, they are likewise not listed here. for example, the American_Museum_of_Natural_History has dozens, perhaps hundreds of corporate members and contributing organizations. These are NOT listed on its Wikipedia page. Wikipedia is not a depository or memorial or any type or form of acknowledgment of the contributions of organizations' contributions of this type.
