Childwall in Netherley?[edit]

As per this edit:

The area is made up of four communities: Childwall, Netherley, Lee Park and Woodlands.

Assumed Childwall is a separate district/suburb of Liverpool. Surely this only applies to the area covered by South Liverpool Partnership's Priority Neighbourhood Action Plan for Netherley & Valley? Snowy 1973 (talk) 15:25, 2 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Name?[edit]

Found some old maps of Netherley on the internet. None of them say Netherley on them does anyone know how netherley was named?

On map 2 at the bottom middle it says "Netherly" could this be where its name came from?Tsange (talk) 11:13, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Demolition in 1988-90[edit]

Not a major issue but I remember the travelling through Netherley in 1988-90 and seeing the deck access flats awaiting demolition in 1988 with them not totally gone by 1990. Shouldn't the entry mention the demolition of the flats and maisonettes being from 1983-90 instead of 1983-85.

Minor gripe and good article and pictures of Netherley by the way. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.79.208.21 (talk) 13:16, 25 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]
