Untitled[edit]

It is WRONG to call the Roshigumi traitorous. Kiyokawa Hachirō was traitorous, NOT the rest of the Roshitai. In fact, while 13 dissented members stayed in Kyoto and became the founding members of the Shinsengumi, other dissented members returned to Edo and became the founding members of the Shinchougumi (the Shinsengumi's brother league in Edo) with Okita Rintarou (Okita Soji's brother-in-law) as a commander. Unhelpful naming note[edit]

"Nagakura used the name Yoshie Sugimura (first/last name) in the Meiji era" - Um, this isn't useful. I presume it means either "family/personal name" or "personal/family name", but I can't tell which. A friend (who should know such things) assures me that Sugimura is the family name, so I'm editing that in. --Grey Knight 03:58, 2 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, Sugimura is the family name. Seven 21:31, 4 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Wikiproject Law Enforcement tag[edit]

I removed the WP:LE tag because there is no mention of law enforcement in this article. If I am wrong please put it back.EMT1871 01:58, 9 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
