Untitled[edit]

Dude, my Orchestra teacher, Mr. Engelsman, was in Mustard Plug.

Trusko: I went on the Mustard Plug website and there is nothing about Gwen Stefani being in this band. Maybe I'm missed it or something. Could someone please show me some evidence?

Stefani??[edit]

I've been listening to Mustard Plug for years, and I don't remember any time that Gwen Stefani was in the band or even acted as a guest singer.

I think whoever wrote this was also working on the No Doubt entry.

I sincerely doubt mustard plug would ever have associated themselves with gwen stefani. They aren't highly political or anti corporate but they do have some basic standards. Gwen just ain't a good singer either, so I don't see why they would even request her to do guest vocals.

Maybe because she was huge in the ska scene in the mid-nineties and tons of bands were friends, especially touring bands who had the likelihood of playing together and becoming friends.

oh... and what is with this crap about mustard plug being a favorite of ska purists. hardly. reserve those comments for the aggrolites.

Tard Plug?[edit]

Someone keeps adding information that Mustard Plug is also known as "Tard Plug." I'm not sure if this is vandalism or if the person actually calls them this, but a simple [google search] shows that it is not common enough to merit mention. Please reply if you disagree. Need to expand[edit]

This article is embarrassingly short for a band that's been around almost 20 years. Anyone out there want to help expand it? Here are a couple recent interviews for a start: [1] [2] [3] [4] MakeBelieveMonster (talk) 02:38, 19 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

How I Met Your Mother TV-Show[edit]

Hello. Sadly I have never been listening to any music of "Mustard Plug" though ska-punk is a a style i usually do enjoy.

I came to this page, because tonight i happened to watch an old episode of the famous TV-show "How I Met Your Mother" and in the episode "The Pineapple Incident" (Season 1, Ep. 10) there is clearly visible a poster of "Mustard Plug" on the wall in the protagonist Ted Mosby's room. So I just wanted to check, if there really is a band with this name, or if the poster was just a fake prop/deco.

Maybe this little information is worth to enter in the article? Maybe in a "Trivia" paragraph, or something? Sorry for my bad grammar, i am from Germany, Cheers. R.A. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2A01:598:9995:DB62:4405:D127:36C:862B (talk) 19:58, 17 October 2021 (UTC)[reply]
