I’m not editing the article myself as I have a conflict of interest. But there are at least two errors in this article. Munira was not “leader of the Liberal Democrat group in opposition”, during her four years as a councillor the Lib Dems were lead by Serge Lourie, and were the majority group not the opposition. Munira did not lose her seat in the 2010 elections, she stood down and her seat was held by Lesley Pollesche, a fellow Liberal Democrat. The 101pakisatnis source, previously used in the article, says "She is a Twickenham resident of Pakistani ancestry." I assume this web page is a mirror copy of an old Wikipedia entry and thus an unusable circular source. I think she just described her herself, on the BBC News Special Coronavirus Update, as being of "East African Asian Indian" heritage. Martinevans123 (talk) 16:56, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Munira said on the program "Coronavirus Update: BBC News Special" (broadcast live on BBC One) at 17:50 British Summer Time on 29th March 2021, that she is not of Pakistani heritage ("my Wikipedia page is wrong") and that she has East African background. (She might have included "Asian", I didn't quite catch it.) The Pakistani heritage error was fixed by an unregistered editor in this edit. MPS1992 (talk) 17:06, 29 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
