EDITS: I changed "adherents" and "his followers" to "Subud members" because persons in Subud do not follow or adhere to M. Subuh's writings and/or actions. In fact, most persons who have joined Subud in the past 10 years or so have little idea of who bapak was. Many of them have never even read anything he's written. And his writing is hardly instructive at any rate...each person experiences the Subud meditation in their own way, which is not only different from the way bapak experienced it, but it is different from the way others experience it. Further, it's usually different each time, for each person, doing it. In Subud, there's precious little to "follow" or "adhere to" because there is no method or technique.Aliman (talk) 06:34, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

To 92.251.165.123 - you're putting "an experience commonly reported by Javanese spiritual teachers" against Muhammad Subud Sumohadiwidjojo's account of his ascension experiance. If you can demonstrate a Javanese spiritual teacher having described such an experiance before him in 1932, please give reference to it.
