This article is written in American English, which has its own spelling conventions (color, defense, traveled) and some terms that are used in it may be different or absent from other varieties of English. According to the relevant style guide, this should not be changed without broad consensus.

Movie theatres in the U.S. on the NRHP[edit]

Many of the hundreds of U.S. NRHP-listed theatres may be movie palaces of the type described in this article. I've just used an automated tool to provide a list of all NRHP places with "theatre" or "theater" in their name, at Wikipedia:WikiProject National Register of Historic Places/Theatres. Background History[edit]

Movie Palace List[edit]

Is the list intended to only reflect movie palaces that are still open? Or are demolished ones allowed? Should we start a new list for demolished movie palaces? - Kzirkel (talk) 14:26, 24 April 2015 (UTC)[reply]

It looks like some are still open, some have been repurposed, and some have been demolished. It would definitely be better to diferentiate the list by current status. ... I think separate lists would be preferable to a table. 8bitW (talk) 00:15, 1 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
