Notability[edit]

Moses Farrow is not a public figure. He has been the subject of a small smattering of interviews, all of which focus on his relationship with his famous parents. The public information on him and his life barely fills a single paragraph, as he has never been the subject of "significant coverage", and what little coverage he's received is concentrated around his parents. He does not meet the WP:GNG for this reason. The bulk of the current article relates to comments he's made about his parents. I believe these comments should be integrated into those pages, and this page removed. Johnny "ThunderPeel2001" Walker (talk) 15:38, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Concur - Notability is WP:NOTINHERITED. I think the best course might be a formal AfD. --Tenebrae (talk) 21:27, 18 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I'll redirect it for now to Woody Allen. SarahSV (talk) 02:35, 14 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • I've taken the liberty of reverting the redirect. The 2014 AfD ended in "keep," and I don't believe there was sufficient discussio in 2017 to supercede that judgment. The HBO documentary Allen v. Farrow will be coming out soon, has gotten tremendous publicity, and there is little doubt that Moses Farrow will again be in the spotlight, enhancing his notability as determined years ago by the community. I think a 2nd AfD would be needed to redirect this. Coretheapple (talk) 19:10, 6 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I also wanted to mention that he was the subject of a 2020 profile in The Guardian [1] which I do believe resolves the notability concerns, and additionally, as I recall, in 2018 (after the above merger discussion) he received substantial attention for his defense of Allen. I haven't gone through it in great detail yet, but I think the new sourcing will also obviate the need to rely on primary sources quite so much. I am not comfortable with use of state databases etc. Coretheapple (talk) 00:20, 8 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
