Last paragraph of Moon landing#Uncrewed landings - please remove the inappropriate inline external link from south pole, in the first sentence. There is already a citation to that source at the end of the sentence. 199.208.172.35 (talk) 20:36, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

About recent Indian Moon Landing

We should update File:Moon_landing_sites.svg to include the recent Indian moon landing today, and edit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moon_landing#Proposed_future_missions to make it up-to date. RidgelantRL (talk) 23:55, 23 August 2023 (UTC)

@RidgelantRL: Commons:File_talk:Moon_landing_sites.svg#Chandrayaan-3. Should be updated in a few hours. When this is updated the section below explaining the colors will also need to be updated. Urban Versis 32KB(talk / contribs) 17:15, 24 August 2023 (UTC)

Re: Uncrewed landings section

@Akshadev; the section is titled "Uncrewed landings" and pertains to all uncrewed landings, both hard (intentional crash) and soft (proper landers). By that definition, the ESA and Japan have also reached the Moon via hard landing, as well as the two private attempts failing in the final stages. Your source pertains to the four countries that have successfully conducted a soft landing on the Moon, which aren't the only ones to have reached the Moon outright.

Your edits seem to believe the section solely discusses soft landings, when it very clearly does not. It's especially a stretch to accuse me of WP:FRINGE when said ESA, Japanese, and private missions are quite literally noted later in the very same section, and not a stretch I take kindly to. It is ironic that ISRO had achieved a successful hard landing by Chandrayaan-1 in 2008 but was included in this list after the successful soft landing of Chandrayaan-3. Well, I wasn't aware of the fact that this section also contains the details regarding 'Hard Landing' on the Moon but now I've got your point. Also, I apologise for accusing you of WP:FRINGE. Happy editing. — 𝙰𝚔𝚜𝚑𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚟™ 💬 07:47, 25 August 2023 (UTC)

Interactive map of lunar soft landings

The webpages of successful landing missions seems wrong. When I click, Change2, Luna 20's page comes up. Chandrayaan-3 page is not coming up etc. 117.208.253.9 (talk) 17:20, 10 September 2023 (UTC)
