I think the title "model engine" is not specific enough because there are other model engines, e.g. steam and hot-air. I propose to split the article into Model diesel engine and Model glow-plug engine and to merge the articles Glow plug (model engine) and Glow fuel into the latter. Please give your comments or alternative suggestions. IMO we should just drop the Nitro Engine article and set up a redirect to model engine. In my opinion, Model Engine accurately includes ALL types of engines used in models, including those not fueled by nitromethane, and the Nitro Engine article is far too vague. Top Fuel Dragsters run on 80-95% nitro, but they're not even mentioned. 74.240.202.249 (talk) 15:10, 20 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There's clearly content in here that could be merged into Model engine (whatever that name then acquires). An article specific to Glow plug engine would be useful too. However there's also the racing use of nitro engine and that should probably remain behind. It looks like a paragraph cut & paste, rather than a full merge or rename. Jet engine[edit]

There are already jet engines for model/RC aircraft like Jetcat ones. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 190.236.193.151 (talk) 22:52, 20 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
