Demographics[edit]

As of 2009, Millerton has a population of 2000 people. It has a very poor employment rate. 10.80% of the people living in Millerton are unemployed, compared to the Unites States unemployment average of 8.5%. The cost of living in Millerton is 20.68% lower than in the average town in the United States. The students living in Millerton go to either Millerton Elementary School or Williamson Junior/Senior High School with there being a 24 to 1 student/ teacher ratio. Community[edit]

Millerton only has a few services to offer its residents. It has the Millerton fire department, post office, Gail’s Pizza and Subs, Draper’s hardware, Draper’s Bee Apiary,^[1] and other personally owned businesses. There are two churches found in Millerton; both of them are found on route 328.
