Advertising copy policy[edit]

I wanted to leave you a note. The banner on your page is trying to tell you that Wikipedia is not an advertising site. Copy needs to be written objectively.

I removed every single endorsement due to the policy here: WP:NOT

Encyclopedia content and the style of writing cannot be done by an organization, especially the Miller Organization. If you are a steak holder, shareholder, or hold a position of marketing and promotion/publicity, then this is likely why banners about promotional adverts are popping up. It can be very frustrating to you as a writer to see this come up about something you truly believe in and support. However, what this makes you bias, and there is nothing wrong with that. but it will effect how you write about this organization.

Please just do your best to pick only facts that are relevant to encyclopedic content. Pls try not to list "LA WEEKLY" for example and mentioning that you were called "top school of ____", and your list of services for your 18-week program. it will be seen clearly as advertising.

best of luck. Im trying to help. Pls read policys on how to write a name namespace Wikipedia:Content in Wikipedia 8barzmusic (talk) 21:52, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

I attempted to rewrite a few sentences more objectively. Ad copy is very minimized, almost gone now. 8barzmusic (talk) 22:19, 24 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
yes you're right its gone now. 8barzmusic (talk) 01:32, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Who are you talking to? There's no WP:OWNER of this page. Apocheir (talk) 01:07, 25 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

[edit]

Hello community friends. I spent time doing copy edits yesterday and removed, rewrote copy in neutral and objective. Any sales or seemingly promotional was also made objective or cut down. Another user yesterday mentioned that the ad copy seems to be gone. So I assume the work is acceptable and removed the tag/banner.

thank you 8barzmusic (talk) 01:44, 26 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
