Is this any connection to the phrase "Western Values" (referring to the Western United States in particular, not the whole of Western Civilization in general), which according to FOX News (which I was a captive audience of, at my workplace breakroom) the Democrats were "tauting" before their convention in Denver? I believe I'm familiar with the historical values of Minnesota; however, I am not sure I agree that this reflects the Midwest in general, let alone the West at all (even though I wish it did).
