What Aircraft did he fly in?[edit]

Although its said in one reference that he was a tail gunner in a Lancaster He served in Coastal Command. The duties were anntisubmarine and anti shipping. One reference refers to Leigh Light bombers. It is more likely that he flew in Wellingtons or Halifaxes equiped with a Leigh Light than Lancasters. This may have to be edited to the more accurate but less specific by quoting a diffeent reference and stating that he flew in a "LeighLight Squadron".
