Review roundups on the web do not mention the serious complaints from many verified purchase Amazon buyers[edit]

These include fire hazard complaints, backed up by photographs, from the thin gauge wiring and low-capacity two prong (no ground) plugs. One of the companies copy-pastes a "we're sorry" statement to most of the 1 star reviews, in lieu of typing a personal response. As with a Pelonis oil-filled heater, which received over 1/3 of its ratings as one star, one of these heaters is no longer sold by Amazon, after racking up a very large number of reviews. Unfortunately, it does not seem that here has been any press attention to the safety concerns low-cost space heaters (including oil-filled models) pose due to design flaws, even though some have been recalled due to fire hazards (such as a micathermic sold by QVC). Caveat emptor. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 107.77.194.32 (talk) 07:48, 10 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
