Where did the word Metrolina come from? Local TV news? "Greater Charlotte" or "Charlotte Metropolitan area" would be a more accurate term. And I don't think the fact that Greater Charlotte encompasses parts of two seperate states is either remarkable in itself or a good reason to invent a word like Metrolina...
