I'd suggest rewording the intro slightly to speak more generally about an interface between metal/insulator or metal/semiconductor. MIGS are observed as well when thin oxide films are supported on a bulk metal, currently the intro only includes thin metal films on bulk semiconductors. 141.14.132.20 (talk) 08:57, 17 March 2016 (UTC)
