The article currently reads as if a red ink menologem were an exclusive perogative of the (senior) emperor; black ink menologems were the exclusive perogative of the most senior church officials and (presumably but unstated) any junior emperors; and other people needed to do their menologems in ink of other colors. Well, what other color? or is the information missing that "black ink" is entirely irrelevant and the point is that only these listed officials ever issued any menologems at all? — LlywelynII 06:25, 13 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
