"His wife's name was Bonnie, maiden name Kiplinger. She was the daughter of W. M. Kiplinger, the founder of Kiplinger Washington Editors Inc and his wife LaVerne Kiplinger. She had two sons from her first marriage to Eugene Watts, the founder of the brass quintet, Canadian Brass. I know this because I am her older son, Kevin Watts born in 1961. My brother, her second, is Keith Watts born in 1963. It's still a mystery as to the specifics of her death. I was told growing up, that it was an accidental overdose of alcohol and prescription drugs."
