GA Reassessment[edit]

Article (edit | visual edit | history) · Article talk (edit | history) · Watch
As part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles' Project quality task force, I am re-reviewing this article to ensure compliance with current good article criteria. I have determined that it doesn't meet criteria for the reasons outlined below and needs a bit of work.

  • Images (criterion 6): there are six nonfree images in the article, many of which (File:EvarOrbus.jpg and File:MaxReboComics.jpg, for example) flat out fail WP:NFCC. The others don't have the critical commentary and strong rationales needed for compliance.
  • Coverage (criterion 3a): Where's the information on reception that is necessary? For that matter, where's the really meaty information on how the scene was created? I know there's lots of non-print sources that could be used to beef up development, but if there's nothing on reception than it may be a good candidate to merge. Any merchandise?
    • (criterion 3b): All the members need to be merged together. If you've got more production info, that's good. Otherwise axe them. It reads like an unholy combination of IMDB and Wookiepeedia right now, and with the above coverage issues it's an uneven mix.
  • References (criterion 2): Current refs 17 and 20 are plainly unreliable, and there are several dead links.

Due to the severity of the issues, I am boldly delisting the article. Keep in mind you can renominate any time you feel the article meets criteria. If you have any comments, direct them to my talk page; I don't watchlist old reviews. Cheers, --Der Wohltemperierte Fuchs (talk) 21:03, 27 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
