I edited the details of the flashback in New Avengers. The previous contributor inaccurately identified the military as the force responsible for hiring mastermind to alter the Sentry's memory. It was in fact a super-villain adversary of the Sentry who called himself the General, as opposed to a literal general of the army. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.36.111.163 (talk) 01:36, 20 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Mastermind's appearance in the recent Sentry storyline of New Avengers was only in a memory from a long time ago. Nowhere in the comic does it say anything about him being alive. In fact Emma Frost still acknowledges his death. So I'm going to edit it back to saying that he is dead.--Stranger Dan 04:09, 6 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Also, the UK Mastermind is a totally different and unrelated character, and should probably not be more than a footnote to this entry. The UK Mastermind could have its own entry. Kevingarcia 04:50, 26 January 2006 (UTC)[reply]
