GA Reassessment[edit]

As part of Wikipedia:WikiProject Good articles' Project quality task force, I am re-reviewing this article to ensure compliance with current good article criteria. I have determined that it doesn't meet criteria for the reasons outlined below and needs a bit of work. The issues:

  • Citation needed tags are littered throughout the article, part of a larger issue of unsourced statements that are not common knowledge and need a reliable source.
  • Along that vein, I'm unsure about some of the sources used, eg. [1] and [2]
  • There are excessive use of non-free images in violation of non-free content criteria; they are mostly used for illustration rather than significantly aiding commentary.
  • The unsourced passages and tone of some of the later sections (particularly "Trends") suggest original research, and at the very least needs updating, more likely a thorough cleaning and sourcing.

Due to the multitude of issues and the unlikelihood that they could be fixed in a reasonable timeframe, I am boldly delisting the article. Keep in mind you may renominate at any time through WP:GAN.
