Name?[edit]

This is actually a bit more complicated than I thought. The source provided in the article currently says that John Maskell was the origin of the name.^[1]

But my source says that it was named after A. H. Maskell owner of the surrounding land and the sheriff of Dixon county. It does also list John Maskell, but as the first settler of Limegrove, Nebraska (about 2 miles away). ^[2] Paltron (talk) 17:12, 28 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
