Today's edits[edit]

Came here today to learn more about this estimable woman, and found many links broken, and the Tennessee resolutions to be dead end PDFs, with no reference to the passage of the legislation, the bill sponsors, etc. (just the last name of the primary sponsor appearing in the PDF), in total, making most information in the article hard to trace/verify.

I did the work to update the citations so there are no dead links, and so the resolutions are fully understandable and verifiable.

Remaining to be done, by others involved in this article, is a recheck of the citations, versus the appearance of the inline citations. For instance, Ms Scales founding of her sorority chapter is likely not best sourced to the Senate resolution. (There needs to be a careful scholarly check of sources and how they are used to support text.) In so doing, several apparent unsourced statements can likely be sourced.

Finally, I am placing the primary sources tag, because the appearance of Ms Scales in secondary sources will underpin her notability, and provide content for understanding her life and work. Cheers. Le Prof 71.239.87.100 (talk) 15:19, 5 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
