I have no problem with this, as it falls reasonably within the bounds for deletion. Is it possible to keep this page template in tact so it can be used when he makes his first competitive appearance, thus saving me or whomever cares to (re)create the page a good deal of work? @Anwegmann: I have a pre-existing draft in my user space at User:GiantSnowman/Marlon Fossey. I suggest I merge the two pages at that location, then we can work on it, and when he makes his professional debut can easily move it back into main space? GiantSnowman 20:33, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@GiantSnowman:That's perfect. Thanks. Anwegmann (talk) 20:41, 29 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

National Team Years and Caps[edit]

The sources I used for the 2016-2017 years and 9 (0) caps for the US U-20s were a composite from a keyword search of MLSSoccer.com (https://www.mlssoccer.com/search/Marlon%20Fossey) done both on September 24 and September 25, 2020. The results track his appearances at the 2017 CONCACAF U-20 Championship as well as U-20 friendlies from late 2016. My count was 9 caps and 0 goals. I may have miscounted (which is certainly a possibility, as there are quite a few sources being cross-referenced), but the years are almost certainly 2016-2017. I wasn't exactly sure how to cite so many different sources without making everything unsightly. My apologies if I did it improperly. Anwegmann (talk) 17:19, 25 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

info[edit]

according to bolton he moved to the uk age 4 (not 11) and was born in hollywood. source Muur (talk) 21:07, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]

"Hollywood" is part of Los Angeles. Jersey is technically part of the UK. So he may well have moved to the UK when he was 4, but the sentence in the article still makes sense. I agree that the sentence is very strangely phrased, from a geopolitical perspective. Anwegmann (talk) 22:45, 3 January 2022 (UTC)[reply]
