New Book: Controlled Chaos[edit]

There is a new book, described in this way on the Chip Kelly Page:

"Controlled Chaos: Chip Kelly's Football Revolution" by Mark Saltveit (Diversion Publishing, 2015) ISBN 1626818231

Also, two longform articles of note:

"What Makes Chip ... Chip," Philly.com, September 15, 2014 http://www.philly.com/philly/sports/eagles/Philadelphia_Eagles_Chip_Kelly_Profile.html 9,000 word biography of Chip Kelly. Philly.com is the web portal of the two major Philadelphia newspapers, the Inquirer and the Daily News.

"Studying Chip: A Chip Kelly expert sorts through new 49ers coach's methodology" By Mark Saltveit, San Jose Mercury News, January 22, 2016 (About 4,000 words - a post-mortem of where things went wrong in Philadelphia). Msalt (talk) 04:22, 22 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

It may be useful to add a paragraph to the narrative explaining that the subject became a football writer beginning in 2013, in addition to the two books and two longform articles writing for FishDuck.com, Philly.com, BleedingGreenNation.com, IgglesBlitz.com and (starting in 2016) NinersNation.com.

Two updates[edit]

1. The "planned" film by Vince Clement (and Adam Corneliius) was released in 2020, titled "The Palindromists." it is currently available on the Apple TV streaming service.

2. As that film documents, Lori Wike took 2nd place (to Australia's Martin Clear) in the 2017 2nd World Palindrome Championships, by the smallest mathematically possible margine (1/3 of one point).
