Doctorate[edit]

Grossmann got his doctorate from ETH and not from the University of Zürich according to detailed biography by T. Sauer in the References. Phidus (talk) 09:54, 7 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

@Phidus: Well, the biography must be wrong since Grossmann's dissertation in the University of Zurich library says he submitted it to the Philosophische Facultät at the University of Zurich, not ETH. --bender235 (talk) 19:46, 20 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Hungarian Jew or Swiss[edit]

Grossmann was born in Budapest and was a Hungarian Jew according to the Categories section. On the other hand the article states that "Grossmann was a member of an old Swiss family from Zurich." Somehow this sounds contradictory. Tsf (talk) 19:24, 7 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
