I believe that at least 90% of the time, Marat will mean Jean-Paul Marat. This ought to be at Marat (name). The connection to the French revolutionist is, at best, questionable. Rather, the Arabic/Islamic roots of the name, with a general meaning of "The Desired One," should be examined.
