Monotypic[edit]

This article is duplicative of the Manicina areolata article. Monotypic genera only get one article, typically titled by the generic name. Abductive (reasoning) 18:36, 17 September 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Now polytypic[edit]

With the more recent recognition of two additional species in the genus (M. grandis and M. navicula), I will request a move back to the species page and re-create the genus page as a stub to list all three species. Loopy30 (talk) 17:51, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
