Seinfeld[edit]

I am a bit confused as to why certain pages relating to sexual behaviour refer to Seinfeld. Forgive me if this is just my ignorance, but I really don't understand why this is relevant. If Seinfeld's writers are credited with the genesis of a term (such as 'makeup sex') then this is reasonabe. If, on the other hand, the references to Seinfeld are simply included because the writer is a Seinfeld fan, it seems quite inappropriate. Anyone willing to enlighten me? Seinfeld can be credited with bringing a lot of terms into popular usage, even if the wrtiers didn't 'invent' these terms. A good examples is the 'shrinkage' episode. I'd say that Seinfeld did a similar thing with 'makeup sex', Seinfeld became the common point of reference for this term, thus I think it actually is notable, and not just the result of an over eager Seinfeld fan.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.167.106.33 (talkcontribs)
