Mages (company)Mages. – This is the company's legal name and branding (the . is part of the company name). For some reason, a user reverted this acceptable article name change Iftekharahmed96 (talk) 16:35, 24 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Oppose. I also agree that "Mages." is ruled out by MOS:TM (see the example "Skate"/"skate.") and WP:COMMONNAME (almost always referred to as "Mages Inc." or "Mages"). The "." stylization should still be mentioned in the lead, though.--Alexandra IDVtalk 09:05, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  • Comment. There's another problem. The company was renamed just recently and continues to use the trademark "5pb" for everything just as before (5pb Records, 5pb Games, 5pb Onlineshop, etc.). Isn't it still more recognizable as "5pb"? --Moscow Connection (talk) 16:06, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Comment. Upon going to the company website, the corporate history mentions that the entity was founded as 5bp. but was re-branded as Mages. in 2011. Also, Mages. parent company, Dwango calls the company Mages. http://mages.co.jp/about/history/ Iftekharahmed96 (talk) 20:30, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
