Needs a summary

I came here because I just wanted to know in a couple of sentences 'what is Mad Men about'. Can't believe there is all this stuff here and yet, I still have no idea what the actual series is about. This page needs a page up top saying something like: 'Mad Men is a drama set in ________ that revolves around ___________ and deals with issues of blah, blah, blah'. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 111.248.70.53 (talk) 12:14, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

The second paragraph of the lede has just that "Mad Men is set in the 1960s, initially at the fictional Sterling Cooper advertising agency on Madison Avenue in New York City, and later at the newly created firm Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce.[2] The focal point of the series is Don Draper (Jon Hamm), creative director at Sterling Cooper and a founding partner at Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, and the people in his life, both in and out of the office. As such, it regularly depicts the changing moods and social mores of 1960s America." Seems fine by me. Dbrodbeck (talk) 14:08, 20 August 2012 (UTC)

Yes and this could mean anything. Proper pages have a "plot" point were the plot of a show/movie is described. You learn literally nothing about the actual content of this show from this page. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.220.235.94 (talk) 23:33, 13 September 2012 (UTC)
