Atlantic sailing

"On 14 February 1941, as part of Operation Weserübung, Esso Hamburg shipped about 2,582 m3 (568,000 imp gal) of oil to the capital ship Scharnhorst."

Operation Weserübung is an error, this was Operation Berlin.

Hi 2003:CB:9F39:4C44:10E8:FC96:4A9F:3E7A Dude, I will check it.scope_creepTalk 20:41, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Dude, its apparently right. They were out on position as part of invasion of Denmark, along with other 10 ships, and the Esso had to refuel the battleships during the whole of the battle.scope_creepTalk 21:10, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
Later on in 1941, they went much further into the Atlantic, but at the instance for the attack on Denmark, they were there to destroy all surface craft.scope_creepTalk 21:11, 31 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
