Lydia Yeamans Titus, Question of Age[edit]

Lydia just looked older than she was. IMDb, always accused of being wrong, is quite frequently correct as in this case with Lydia's birthdate of 1866. Lydia had an older sister named Jennie born in 1862 who actually was more famous than Lydia. Jennie died early of tuberculosis in 1906 at 44 and never appeared in motion pictures. Their mother Mrs Annie Yeamans was born in 1835/or 36 and maybe it's her birth year being confused with her daughter. There's a Broadway picture of Lydia & Jennie taken in the 1870s when they were children. I'll include it in the External Links of Lydias bio. Koplimek (talk) 16:08, 5 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

  • If the Guinness Book of World Records recorded her age as 84, their data is obviously incorrect for reasons already explained. Im contemplating removing the Question of Age section as it is redundant if not ludicrous. Koplimek (talk) 05:11, 10 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
  • Recently an article appeared in The Jakarta Post commemorating the 150th anniversary of the George Lewis’ Australian Hippodrome company’s 1863 Asian tour. In the article Annie Yeamans and her husband are mentioned traveling with their baby daughter Jennie while Lydia, age 5, and Emily, age 3, remained home in Australia under the care of grandparents.John F.
