This article doesn't cite any references. What evidence is there that the name comes from Madness being most successful when all 7 members were together? Is there a quote from a band member? I certainly don't know of one and I read most articles there about Madness. Isn't it more likely that the name comes from The Skatelites track "Lucky 7"?
