Micheal Bolton song?[edit]

If the Isley's wrote, originally performed, and still own the rights for the song why the hell is this disambiguated as a Michael Bolton song on the sole fact he was most successful with it? 98.66.227.226 (talk) 01:45, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Up until a couple of days ago, the page listed the songwriters as I did when I created the article (Bolton and Andrew Goldmark). I've restored it to the original version, because I think Bolton's song is different than the Isley's, despite the court ruling detailing the similarities. Kind of like "Ice Ice Baby" vs. "Under Pressure", the point is that Bolton didn't give credit when he should have, but his is its own song and therefore disambig'd correctly. Unless I'm way off base, in which case maybe we could get an objective opinion. Zephyrnthesky (talk) 22:13, 19 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Late, but I have now referenced the writers. Richhoncho (talk) 23:06, 18 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
