Notability[edit]

Could help. What really helps is reading WP:BAND, making sure they meet the criteria there, and providing the requested sources. So if they get a non-trivial mention in an article in a reliable press source regarding the Decemberists tour, then yes, that would help towards establishing notability, if the fact is then added to the article and cited. I've added a citation from an NPR.org article about the group. Other reliable sources offer non-trivial coverage of them as well, including The Oregonian, but I didn't have access to the archives right now. Perhaps someone else could add that in? Also, the group has released two albums with Hush Records, which may qualify as a significant indie label.76.201.142.71 (talk) 20:39, 28 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]
