Chicken or Egg[edit]

This article states: "Lobster Newburg is related to Lobster Thermidor" As the former predates the latter, this should be the other way around and placed in the Thermidor article. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.243.164.201 (talk) 13:09, 3 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling[edit]

A Google search for "Lobster Newburg" gives 225,000 results; one for "Lobster Newberg" gives 114,000 and a polite inquiry as to whether I don't mean Newburg. However, the Wikipedians apparently have decided in favor of the "Newberg" spelling, possibly because the recipe's originator spelled his name "Wenberg", not "Wenburg". related?[edit]

Both this article and the "Lobster Thermidor" article say they are "related". They have some similar preparation techniques but I would think "related" would only be appropriate if one had inspired the other (never stated in either article) or if there were some common historical event that caused them to be devised. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.149.72.66 (talk) 00:46, 5 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
