Ashley or Astley?[edit]

The pictured boat - should it be Ashley rather than Astley? — Preceding unsigned comment added by David.castell (talkcontribs) 10:08, 24 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

RNLB Mary Stanford (ON 661)[edit]

The RNLB Mary Stanford (ON 661) article and its infobox list this as Liverpool-class. Could someone confirm whether/where it should go in this article? ‑‑YodinT 15:29, 3 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It shouldn't. The page deals with the later motorised Liverpool-class lifeboats. Mary Stanford was a 'Pulling and Sailing' type, which doesn't fit well with the current page.
I just submitted a draft for an article 'Liverpool-class P&S lifeboat' and have included Mary Stanford, along with other P&S type of this class. Hopefully that will be approved, then I'll go and link the various articles to it. Avectis-writer (talk) 11:26, 16 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Now sorted - there's a page for Liverpool-class Pulling and Sailing lifeboats and the Mary Stanford (ON661) wikipedia page is now linked to it. Avectis-writer (talk) 17:57, 14 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]
