Recording date?[edit]

Do we know the date and venue of the original recording and if so could it be added to the article please? Cheers. --kingboyk (talk) 12:57, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are two varying sources given: Huw LL has stated Oxford (as quoted in the article), but also St Albans seems to have been accepted by the biographers (Carol Clerk's Saga Of hawkwind and Ian Abrahams' Sonic Assassins). What does seem to be agreed, is that ovedubs were recorded at Eel Pie Studios. - Drwhawkfan (talk) 20:11, 4 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

talkheader[edit]

I won't keep reverting if you're dead set on keeping it off, but WP Progressive Rock has added the template to every talk page that it encompasses, about 2500 at this point. The documentation for the template only states that it is most appropriate for busy or controversial talk pages. However, we feel that it can be used to an equal preventative effect by being on any talk page. It should not be placed on talk pages that were redlinked beforehand, but is not forbidden otherwise —Preceding unsigned comment added by Floydian (talkcontribs)

Assessment comment[edit]

The comment(s) below were originally left at Talk:Live Seventy Nine/Comments, and are posted here for posterity. Following several discussions in past years, these subpages are now deprecated. The comments may be irrelevant or outdated; if so, please feel free to remove this section.

Comment(s)Press [show] to view →
Start:
  • Green tickY A reasonably complete infobox
  • Green tickY A lead section giving an overview of the album
  • Green tickY A track listing
  • Green tickY Reference to at least primary personnel by name (must specify performers on the current album; a band navbox is insufficient)
  • Green tickY Categorisation at least by artist and year

C:

  • Green tickY All the start class criteria
  • Green tickY A reasonably complete infobox, including cover art
  • Green tickY At least one section of prose (in addition to the lead section)
  • Green tickY A track listing containing track lengths and authors for all songs
  • Green tickY A "personnel" section listing performers, including guest musicians.

B:

  • Green tickY All the C class criteria
  • Green tickY A completed infobox, including cover art and most technical details
  • Green tickY A full list of personnel, including technical personnel and guest musicians
  • ? No obvious issues with sourcing, including the use of blatantly improper sources.
  • ? No significant issues exist to hamper readability, although it may not rigorously follow WP:MOS
