Image:Liveitup.jpg is being used on this article. - I remember reading somewhere that the hotdogs were supposed to represent Crosby, Stills & Nash and the one being cut down was supposed to be Neil Young since he left after American Dream. But I don't remember where I read that. KitHutch (talk) 15:48, 27 August 2021 (UTC)

- David Crosby: "Right."
- SW: "The cover is a bit of a departure for Crosby Still and Nash. Can you help explain it?"
- DC: "The idea is that you have space explorers who've managed to make it to another planet. They've achieved a sort of greatness, in terms of accomplishment. See? But despite that, when they get to this other planet, they're all alone. Just the astronauts. And so, to live it up, so to speak, they have to make due with what is afforded them on this planet a half a zillion miles from earth. For them, a few hot dogs on a stick while watching the Earth go by across the horizon is living it up. It's ironic: These great scientists, and their big moment, when they get to live it up, is eating some hot dogs on sticks."
