This is very poor article and needs loads of improvement. It is very incomplete, for example it lists the 5 stages in the tour as Columbia's only wins in 2008. What about the stage wins in Ireland, Missouri or yesterday in the Tour of Britain. I am not going to add all these in myself because i feel it will be wasted effort as the article is sure to be deleted at some point soon as pointless, incomplete, and if it were ever to be complete, far to large. --Greatestrowerever (talk) 17:01, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

First of all I'd like to say that I think its great that people have high standards and want nothing but the best. However, I dont think "100% complete" should be the goal for every Wikipedia article. If every article had to be 100% complete in order to be a part of Wikipedia, my guess is that close to 100% of the Wikipedia articles should be deleted, or at least be described as pointless, incomplete, and if it were ever to be complete, far to large. I admit that a couple of the headings were misleading, such as the "Columbia 2008" heading, but in general this article is, at least in my mind, "complete". The article does not claim to be a list of ALL the victories by Telekom/T-Mobile/High Road/Columbia, it is a list of great achievements by the team. I dont think a victory in a small local race in the eastern parts of Germany back in the 90s is especially relevant and something that should be included in this article, but I do think victories like Zabel's 1997 Milano-Sanremo should be listed. In my opinion the only misleading headings were the Team Columbia 2008- and the jersyes in other big stage races. Which time periodes the other lists included were expresed in the introduction at the top of the page or in the headings. I also admit that the statement "the other lists may be incomplete as well", could have been confusing, but I feel such a statement was necessary to emphasize the fact that there was, and still is, a risk that individual lists may be incomplete. I've done some minor adjustments to clarify what the lists include, but I dont think this article needs a cleanup. I think its perfectly fine, but of course, if someone wants to expand it to include minor victories and stage wins in higly ranked stage races prior to 1998, great! Or if someone wants to fill in new victories: great. Kimgeni (talk) 17:43, 7 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
