Certain songs not released for the PAL Playstation Store

I don't know if this is worth putting in the article, but the "We Three Kings" single and the "Dropkick Murphys" track pack have never been made avaliable in the PAL Playstation Store. Does anyone know why this is? 121.208.148.104 (talk) 04:59, 27 March 2008 (UTC)

"Dream On"

I saw the announcement today on Kotaku, with the press release. I didn't have time to locate a more official source so I went with that for the time being. New Tables are Redundant

I see the page is in the middle of a "revamp". However a large part of the information in the new tables are redundant.

Album - This can be found on the song's own wiki page.
Year - This can also be foudn on the song's own page. With a note if it's a re-recording (CoP/HiC/Dream On)
Cover - This has been done previously by bolding the song/artist info.
Length - This is available in the song's own wiki page as well.

Yea, I was seeing this, I don't think they help, at least in this form. Length and Album technically are original research ( the in-game versions may be edited for time, and thus is it necessarily the album's version?) --MASEM 23:22, 16 February 2008 (UTC)

I've done some editing over at the RB tracklist article. And I know GH vs. RB can be a hot button topic, but the layout over there is pretty clean. Here's an example of how tables could be used if we decided to go with it:

Only the neccesary information that is also verifible through the game itself. Those tracks which are masters would be marked with bold as before. I'm going to remove the tags and revert back. We need to decide what this should look like at talk first and we can't leave the page in limbo for this long. What I would suggest (this is what I did when I completely redid List of songs in Rock Band) is someone copy the whole page over to their user space, do what they want to do there, then copy/paste it back. I'd say make the column widths consistent between tables, it looks awkward as it is now. Also, where it says "songs in red..." that text should be in that color. Other than that, it looks fine to me. Also FYI, in the future you don't have to do things like this on your main page. You have a whole directory. So you could just create User:TRTX/GH3 as a page and do whatever you want there without messing up your user page. Oren0 (talk) 04:58, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Be aware that colors should not be used as the only identification of a critical aspect (in this case, what songs are encores or boss battles) , per WP:COLORS. --MASEM 23:49, 17 February 2008 (UTC)

Looking at some of the topics here, I'd say they can be cleaned up quite a bit. Especially a lot of the discussions regarding songs that were/weren't going to be on the disc. TRTX (talk) 20:31, 21 February 2008 (UTC)

TRTX, if you go to "My Preferences" and click on the "Misc" tab, you should see the option "Show table of contents (for pages with more than 3 headings)". If there is a check mark next to that, the ToC will automatically show up on any page that has more than 3 headings. Currently, this talk page now only has 3 headings. You can manually show the ToC by placing __ToC__ on a new line anywhere on the page. Right now, it isn't necessary as the ToC will automatically appear when someone starts a new section/heading. "2007 Remake"?

I noticed that the year section for the track list has two tracks labeled as "2007 remake". When I helped redesign the section I included the original year the song was made with a footnote that it was remade for GHIII. Can we remove "remake", leave 2007 and the footnote? That would then combine to tell readers that the original was in a different year, but remade in 2007 for GHIII. Because right now the 2007 remake plus the footnote is redundant. I don't know how to make additions to the table, but a "Modern Metal" pack has appeared on guitarhero.com for future DLC released with the songs:
