* Standardize Category:American college sports infobox templates to use same font size and spacing.
* Sport in the United Kingdom - the Popularity section is incorrect and unsourced. Reliable data is required.
* Fix project template and/or "to do list" Current version causes tables of content to be hidden unless/until reader chooses "show."
Expand : Professional sports (crucial article explaining the salaried undertaking of sports)
* Sport industry (currently a sub-stub)
Photo : for pages listed in Category:Wikipedia requested images of sports and games and sub-categories.
Stubs : work on articles in Category:Sports stubs
Update : List of world sports championships

- Translate the page of sport in each country from corresponding article in other language Wikipedia to English Wikipedia which was marked in red.
- Categorize: Gather all (major/olympic) sports to be part of this project

Rename?[edit]

@Rmhermen: I could create a new Sports in Michigan article, but (at least initially) it would look a lot like this article, which would probably prompt someone to suggest a merger of the two articles, and we'd be right back where we started. Also, much of the current article consists of the "other notable sports teams" section, which lists many semi-pro and amateur teams. So it seems that the scope of the article already exceeds the title. Renaming the article to allow for a broader scope would solve that issue too. Barryjjoyce (talk) 19:30, 10 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

List of professional sports teams in Michigan → Sports in Michigan – The broader title better reflects the existing scope of the article. The article contains text, so it is more than a list. And the articles discusses semi-pro and amateur sports, more than just professional sports. --Relisted. Comment: This was declined as a technical move. The list is one of a large number of per-state lists of professional sports teams, as you can see from the template at the bottom of the page. Notice that List of professional sports teams in North Carolina is entirely professional. So if you want to move this article, you should get people to agree on what to do with all the others.
