Incorrectly classified "derisive adjectives"[edit]
Huge numbers of these are not even remotely derisive terms (some of them are even points of pride), but they seem to have been lumped in.
Examples:
- Scotch mist (entirely neutral)
- Arizona cloudburst (entirely neutral)
- California breakfast (not derisive or a slur)
- Chicago overcoat (simple slang - not derisive or a slur)
- Chicago piano (slang - not derisive)
- Connecticut mile (neutral)
- Detroit iron (positive term)
- French kiss (positive)
- French inhale (positive/neutral)
- Rocky Mountain/Prairie Oysters (neutral)
- Mountain dew (neutral)
- Texas squirrels (neutral slang)
