Aldro[edit]

I have no citation - but if this abbreviation crops up, I think it is Ulisse Aldrovandi, who I have heard coined the specific names domesticus and montanus for the house and tree sparrow respectively. Narky Blert (talk) 01:02, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
