Hi @M2545: Long ago you added the "Daily Star" entry, citing the Europa encyclopedia. Since that source doesn't appear to be online, I thought maybe you could confirm…do you think this is the same as the "Jamaica Star" or a distinct paper? I'm working on Draft:The Jamaica Star and finding it very difficult to locate general sources that mention it. -Pete Forsyth (talk) 22:43, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi @Peteforsyth:. Here is the reference via Google Books. Does that help? You might also sift through some of the sources in this article on Kingston history.
By the way, I met your delightful mother at a conference in 2019 and was very impressed with her wiki-enthusiasm. It must run in the family. -- M2545 (talk) 12:20, 30 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
The link is very helpful, thank you! We're trying to collect information about sources that are useful for covering caribbean newspapers here, we've found a couple other sources you might find interesting.
Nice that you met Mom at the conference, we had a great time. If you didn't hear her lightning talk, you might enjoy it; we put it on YouTube. -Pete Forsyth (talk) 01:06, 11 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
