Bundy dates[edit]

Bundy is listed twice; 1889 and 1902. In Time clock, the date given is 1911. 69.106.232.37 00:54, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Updated Time Clock to include ITR.

Unicible[edit]

Unicible is not in the list of IBM acquisitions. They bought this Swiss company early 2007 for 6'400'000 CHF. After that, the IBM BCC (Banking Competence Center) was born. See Unicible (French).

  • I added Unicible to the acquisition list. Minnaert (talk) 17:03, 27 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

IBM Service Bureau Corporation[edit]

It is said that one day the IBM SBC president called his staff in and announced the good news that their suit agaist IBM had been settled.

Dates?[edit]

Are these the dates the acquisitions were announced? Or finalized? There are some discrepancies. For example, Cognos is listed as 2007, when in reality the acquisition will not be finalized until 2008. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.246.40.54 (talk) 16:12, 12 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I added whole pile of acquisitions, primarily from the ibm press releases. where available, i listed the date as when the acquisitions closed, not when it was announced. i will try to get the rest of the dates and acquisitions in to the table... the other companies which have lists of acquisitions use this table format, and i think, since it is sortable, etc that it works pretty well.

K3 Group Ltd.[edit]

K3 Group Ltd. is listed as having been acquired in 1995, but the only company by that name that I have been able to locate was in the UK and was dissolved in 1988. [1] Is the company name correct? 46.116.181.129 (talk) 07:20, 10 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Gravitant[edit]

The Gravitant entry points incorrectly to a Weather Channel announcement (#163) and Gravitant is not mentioned. Instead, it should point to IBM's press release about Gravitant. https://www-03.ibm.com/press/us/en/pressrelease/47987.wss

Inconsistent values format in table, unsortable.[edit]

Sorting by acquisition value yields wrong results because the values are inconsistently formatted. If someone could standardize that, it would be great. The scientific notation is especially ridiculous. Plain numbers would be fine, no need to use templates. If no one does this within a week, I'll do the grunt work.--TZubiri (talk) 11:53, 21 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The table is still unsortable.

NS1 Acqusition[edit]

Can an expert editor add IBM's acquisition of NS1 to the list from 1Q23? Missing acquired companies[edit]

Several acquired companies are missing in this list (compared to IBM newsroom https://newsroom.ibm.com/mergers-and-acquisitions) Is there good reason why ? or just incomplete work ?
