Junichiro Koizumi[edit]

One of the people listed on this page is former Prime Minister Koizumi. As raised by a recent posting to to the NBR's discussion page on Japanese matters, there is no evidence that Koizumi is or has even been a member of Nippon Kaigi. To quote the posting:

" ... the wiki page in question cites a 2009 conference paper on US-Japan Security Treaty. I read it but it did not say Mr. Koizumi was a member of the Nippon Kaigi. In the last page, the paper had a chart in which (ex-)Machimura-faction of LDP and Nippon Kaigi were explained side by side, and I suspect somebody misread this. No name-list of Nippon Kaigi circulating in Japan, I think, has Mr. Koizumi's name in it."

I don't know who placed Koizumi's name on this page, but perhaps they should either justify it, or remove it.

I will remove Koizumi from the list of names. If anyone wants it re-instated, they should make a case for it.

Inaccurate[edit]

This list is inaccurate. It is confused with the Parliamentarian Association named "jp:日本会議国会議員懇談会 (Parliamentarian Association of Japan Conference)."--ぽてから (talk) 16:47, 4 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
